The Vision

I've spent over 25 years trying to answer one question: what does it actually take to live well — not just longer, but better?

My training took me through Harvard Medical School and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pathology at UCLA, and my research career has focused on metabolic disease and the biology of aging, including work on NIH-funded clinical trials. I currently serve as a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the USC Keck School of Medicine and the USC Davis School of Gerontology. I've been recognized as a Top Doctor by Los Angeles Magazine and Best Doctor in America by my peers — but what matters most to me is helping each patient feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for.

The science I work with every day — screening tools, biomarkers, precision data — only means something if it translates into real decisions that protect your health. For me, healthspan isn't an abstract concept. It's your ability to think clearly, move freely, and feel like yourself at 60, 70, and beyond. That's what I'm working toward with every patient I see.

Medicine too often waits for something to go wrong. I'd rather help you stay ahead of it.
